SUMMER CAMPS!

This year’s Summer Camps at The Butterfly Joint are for children ENTERING 1ST GRADE AND UP with a limit of 10-12 students per camp (please read individual camp descriptions for specific grade minimums). Camps run from 9:00am-3:00pm with an outdoor snack/recess and lunch/recess. We take full advantage of the natural beauty that surrounds the shop so recesses are held at Golden Gate Park or Sutro Heights Park! Along with woodworking skills, The Butterfly Joint focuses on teaching children manners, personal and community responsibility and social justice as well as helping parents reinforce productive social and emotional behaviors for their children.

Campers must bring their own lunch and snacks. We allow nuts and foods that contain nuts as we eat outdoors and at distance for snack and lunch. Children do not share food at camp.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CAMPS ARE FINAL SALE. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR CAMPS. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CALENDAR AND MINIMUM GRADE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE BOOKING. If you must cancel, you may sell your spot(s) to another family and contact us at make@thebutterflyjoint.com.

Wood Block Printing Camp, June 8-12

The woodworkers will design, draw, prep and carve their very own wood block for creating beautiful prints.

The woodworkers will create their own sculptures from our wide selection of choice scraps! Their creative minds come up with the coolest things — Godzilla, Minecraft characters, Rubik’s Cube models… the possibilities are endless!
